About Fundraiser :U&I for Every Child With Rehan Non For Profit
Here’s a cause that’s close to my heart, and I know you’ve got a heart for making a difference.
I have been closely involved with U&I’s Teach program, dedicated to transforming lives through education and mentorship. Our impactful work includes personalized tutoring, building libraries, counseling, and career readiness for children from underserved communities across 40 cities. It’s not just about academics; it’s a comprehensive approach to learning.
What makes it even more remarkable is that you can hear about the impact directly from me! I have personally witnessed positive changes in the lives of these children, and it’s truly inspiring.
So, what’s #Uandiforeverychild?
Do you believe that it takes a village to raise a child? U&I is the heartbeat of a volunteer-run village, where over 2500 individuals, like me, invest their time to make a difference in the lives of children from under-served communities. This initiative has been going strong for 12 years, empowering passionate change-makers to teach and mentor these kids.
You have the opportunity to be a part of this village by donating, helping realize our children’s dreams. Picture being the reason a child doesn’t have to drop out of school, give up on college, or abandon their aspirations. You have the power to be their plot twist; to rewrite their stories. You can be their Village!
Here are my reasons for believing in U&I’s credibility:
- Decade-Long Commitment to the Under-served:Â U&I is committed to being a built-in-India grassroots, bootstrapped charity that serves the under-served. For over a decade, our volunteer-driven approach ensures that every contribution directly impacts those in need, creating a lasting positive effect.
- Transparent Financial Practices: Besides regularly published audited financial statements, U&I makes available a live view of our accounts with a clear breakdown of how funds are utilized, demonstrating accountability and transparency.
- Accreditation and Recognition:Â U&I has earned recognition for financial transparency, holding certifications from reputable organizations such as GuideStar, CAF India, Give India and CAF America. U&I is also a certified Great Place to Work.
- Tax Claim under Section 80G:Â U&I provides additional value to donors through tax claims under Section 80G of the Indian Income Tax Act.
- Community Involvement and Participation:Â U&I actively involves the community in planning, executing, and evaluating projects, ensuring a bottom-up approach. They take feedback from beneficiaries and adapt to changes. Trust me; I’ve been personally involved here!
I would be thrilled to have you partner with me in this incredible journey. Reach out to me personally if you need more clarity

When it comes to planning an event, there are many important components to consider. From selecting the perfect venue to organizing the entertainment, every detail plays a crucial role in creating a memorable experience. One aspect that should not be overlooked is the inclusion of a fundraiser as part of the event.
A fundraiser is a dedicated effort to raise funds for a specific cause or organization. It can take various forms, such as auctions, raffles, or donation drives. Incorporating a fundraiser into your event not only adds an element of philanthropy but also provides numerous benefits for both the event organizers and attendees.
1. Supporting a Worthy Cause
By including a fundraiser as part of your event, you have the opportunity to support a cause that is close to your heart or that aligns with the purpose of the event. Whether it is raising funds for a local charity, supporting a community project, or contributing to a global initiative, the fundraiser allows you to make a positive impact and give back to society.
2. Creating Engagement and Excitement
A fundraiser adds an extra layer of excitement and engagement to your event. It gives attendees a chance to actively participate and contribute, creating a sense of unity and camaraderie. Whether it’s bidding on auction items, purchasing raffle tickets, or making donations, attendees feel involved and invested in the event’s success.
3. Enhancing Networking Opportunities
Events provide a valuable platform for networking and building connections. By incorporating a fundraiser, you attract a diverse group of individuals who share a common interest in supporting the cause. This creates an environment conducive to networking and fosters new relationships. Attendees can connect over their shared passion for the cause, opening doors for potential collaborations and future partnerships.
4. Increasing Event Attendance and Appeal
A fundraiser adds an extra incentive for individuals to attend your event. People are more likely to attend an event that offers them the opportunity to contribute to a worthy cause. The fundraiser can serve as a unique selling point, attracting a larger audience and increasing the overall appeal of your event.
5. Generating Positive Publicity
When you incorporate a fundraiser into your event, you not only generate funds but also create an opportunity for positive publicity. By promoting the cause and the event’s philanthropic efforts, you can attract media attention and gain exposure for both the cause and your event. This can lead to increased awareness, support, and participation from the community.
6. Leaving a Lasting Impact
One of the most significant benefits of including a fundraiser in your event is the lasting impact it can have. The funds raised can make a tangible difference in the lives of those in need or contribute to a meaningful project. By leaving a lasting impact, your event becomes more than just a one-time gathering; it becomes a catalyst for positive change.
In conclusion, incorporating a fundraiser as part of your event is a decision that can yield numerous benefits.
